Bello Caribe: like coming home
• Receives the National Vanguard award
THE Bello
Caribe hotel is an elegant place and a welcome
respite after a long journey, according to its
marketing information. It recently received the
National Vanguard award for having reached and
maintained important commercial results, excellent
care for guests and top quality services.
The 3-star
Bello Caribe, part of the Hotel Carrusel chain, has
120 rooms including 15 suites, and is located on
158th Street and 31st Avenue in Playa, 15 kilometers
from downtown Havana. Dozens of Venezuelan patients
being treated in Cuba are lodged there, along with
visitors from Europe, Latin America and the United
States.
The
three-story eclectic style building with an intimate
and family feel is set in a woody area surrounded by
gardens; it features large stained glass windows,
lovely domesticated birds, huge aquariums, and has
all the modern facilities allowing guests to
organize events and business meetings.
The Bello
Caribe is a member of the Cuban Conventions Bureau
and has received various prizes in different tourism
fairs. This latest national distinction is given
annually by the Central Organization of Cuban Trade
Unions for high performance in all spheres, proposed
by the National Workers Trade Union whose membership
includes the hotel’s personnel.
Emilio
Falcon, the hotel’s experienced manager, told press
that he was very pleased to work in a collective
that had such high human quality, professional level
and dedication to work.
Those
attending the award ceremony included trade union
leaders, hotel guests, staff and other invitees.
