More than 200 Lebanese civilians killed by Israeli bombs
Israel is a terrorist country, and is committing terrorist acts every day, says Lebanese prime minister

BEIRUT, July 17 — At least 208 Lebanese civilians have been killed by Israeli bombardments of their territory, after a sixth day of aggression left at least 80 dead and dozens of injured following the destruction by Tel Aviv’s aviation of southern and eastern sectors of this capital, and attacks on the cities of Sidon, Tyre and Ba’albek.

More than 200 Lebanese civilians killed by Israeli bombsHealth Minister Mohamed Jalife informed that more than 500 people had been injured in six consecutive days of the Israeli offensive by air, sea and land against this Middle Eastern country, under the absurd pretext of liberating two of its soldiers captured by resistance forces.

The minister advised that healthcare personnel are facing difficulties in tending to the victims because it is almost impossible to get to the affected areas.

Meanwhile, Mario Aoun, leader of the Lebanese Doctors Union, appealed to members to go to hospitals and attend to the injured.

Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said that Israel has caused billions of dollars in damage to the country’s infrastructure and is trying to set the country back by 50 years.

The prime minister emphasized that Israeli aircraft had attacked roads, bridges, ports and airports. They also destroyed fuel tanks, communications equipment and several privately-owned factories.

"Israel is a terrorist country, and is committing terrorist acts every day," Siniora said in an interview with Reuters. "What Israel has been doing is tearing the country apart," he stated.
