PRESIDENT Raúl Castro Ruz on Wednesday received
Miguel Jorge, Brazilian minister of development,
industry and foreign trade.
The meeting made it possible to assess the
positive progress of bilateral cooperation, which
received a significant boost during the Brazilian
president’s official visits to our country in
January 2008, and during the Cuban president’s
visits to that South American nation in December of
that same year.
Other participants in the meeting included
Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, vice president of the Council
of Ministers; Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez
Parrilla; Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, minister of
foreign trade and investment, and Bernardo Pericás,
Brazilian ambassador in Cuba.
