Five’s
case in violation of international regulations
IN
the case of the five Cuban patriots (Gerardo Hernández,
Antonio Guerrero, René González, Ramón Labańino and
Fernando González) their human rights are still being
violated. The men received long and unjust prison sentences
for having acted against Miami terrorists and in defense of
the U.S. people.
Now
the U.S. government is refusing to give visas to Olga and
Adriana, the wives of René and Gerardo respectively, thus
violating international rulings on family rights and U.S. law.
This decision condemns the men to having no contact with their
closest family members.
We
urge that the authorities of that powerful country and the
international media break their silence over this case, so
shameful to the United States. The five Cubans were subjected
to a political trial perverted by the Miami terrorist
mafia’s malign plans of vengeance in complicity with the
U.S. authorities.
International
solidarity is very important in the context of calls for a
retrial for these prisoners and for winning respect for their
human rights and those of their families.
